Set of 3 menstrual sponges with retrieval threads: Unlike other menstrual products that use a lot of resources, our sponges grow naturally in the Mediterranean, without any additional effort. They are harvested by a third-generation Greek family business that places particular emphasis on softness and absorbency. The harvest takes place at depths of 50 to 100 meters by specialized divers who leave the root intact so that the sponge can grow back quickly. Thanks to strict harvest breaks and the ability of the sponges to grow back better with occasional harvesting, this process is particularly sustainable. In addition, the attached retrieval threads made of medical silicone are a world first! They are durable, prevent microplastics and are very hygienic because they do not absorb liquid and are easy to clean.

Choose between two options to customize your set to your period intensity:

Set "Medium" contains three HERA organics menstrual sponges for light to medium bleeding that absorb approx. 15 ml of blood and are equivalent to 2 normal tampons. (Sponge size S: 4-5 cm diameter) + 3x removal threads that are already attached to the HERA menstrual sponges.

Set "Strong" contains three HERA organics menstrual sponges for heavy bleeding that absorb approx. 20-30 ml of blood and are equivalent to 3 normal tampons. (Menstrual sponge size M: 5-6.5 cm diameter + menstrual sponge size L: 6.5-7.5) + 3x removal threads that are already attached to the HERA menstrual sponges. PS: For more protection against leakage, two menstrual sponges can be worn at the same time.

Die Anwendung des HERA Gesamtsets:

1. Vorbereitung: Vor und nach der Periode die Menstruationsschwämme mit den Reinigungstabs säubern. Schwämme in warmes Wasser legen, einen Tab hinzufügen und für 20 Minuten einweichen lassen. Anschließend gründlich mit Wasser ausspülen. Vor dem Einführen den Schwamm unter fließendem Wasser anfeuchten, zusammendrücken und einführen.

2. Schneller Wechsel: Das To-Go Case ermöglicht einen hygienischen Wechsel, auch unterwegs. Einen frischen Schwamm im Case mitführen, auf der Toilette den frischen Schwamm kurz am Waschbecken anfeuchten und in der Kabine wechseln. Den benutzten Schwamm sicher im geruchsneutralen und verschließbaren Case aufbewahren.

3. Das Entfernen: Den Schwamm maximal 8 Stunden tragen und danach, ähnlich wie bei einem Tampon, durch Ziehen am Rückholfaden entfernen.

4. Reinigung zu Hause: Zuhause den Schwamm mit Wasser reinigen und nach der Periode alle Schwämme erneut mit einem Reinigungstab behandeln. Anschließend außerhalb des Badezimmers an der Luft trocknen lassen und, sobald sie vollständig trocken sind, im mitgelieferten Hygienebeutel bis zur nächsten Periode aufbewahren.
