Absorbency & Overvies of Sizes

Our sponges come in three sizes – based on standard tampon sizes. This makes it easy to find the right absorbency:

Starter Set Mini: For light flow days, 4–5 cm diameter per sponge, approx. 10–15 ml absorption (equivalent to 2 normal tampons)
Starter set Regular: For medium flow, 5–6.5 cm diameter per sponge, approx. 15–25 ml absorption (equivalent to 2–2.5 tampons)
Starter Set Super: For heavy flow days, 6.5–7.5 cm diameter per sponge, up to 30 ml absorption (equivalent to 3+ tampons)

Here's how it works, it's very simple:

Choose size & cut

Depending on the severity of your bleeding, you can choose between smaller and larger sponges as a set. Each sponge can also be cut to your desired size.

Clean & prepare with tabs

Sponges only become soft and absorbent when they come into contact with water. Before use, soak the sponges in the cleaning solution for 20 minutes – then rinse, wring out, and you're done.

Insert and wear like a tampon

Squeeze a damp sponge and slowly insert it into the vagina – like a tampon. Wear for up to 8 hours, then gently remove using the retrieval string and rinse under water.

Switch & reuse

Use sponges alternately, store the used sponge in the to-go case when out and about, and rinse it at home. Reusable for 3–6 cycles depending on menstruation.
